LRD ILLUSTRATION PROCESS
Here is the process from idea sketches to final illustration. First, I collect all the images and fact I need regarding the article from the internet. After that, I come up with many small thumbnails (5-20). Then scan one that I like best. I trace the thumbnail with a photoshop brush, improving the drawing as I go along, also checking the inverted image. I then email it to the client. When it is approved by the client, I'd then print it out and trace with with a brush using a lightbox. The drawing is scanned in high resolution, cleaned up and then coloured in photoshop. And it's done!
